The Worlds of Alice — CaixaForum Valencia
The largest exhibition ever made about Alice in Wonderland, in collaboration with London's V&A Museum.
"Los mundos de Alicia. Soñar el país de las maravillas" (The Worlds of Alice: Dreaming Wonderland) is the largest exhibition ever created about Lewis Carroll's Victorian classic. Produced in collaboration with London's V&A Museum, it explores the origins, adaptations, and artistic reinterpretations of Alice in Wonderland across 160 years.
The exhibition is divided into five sections: The Invention of Alice, Through the Screen, Alice — Gateway to Other Worlds, Alice on Stage, and Becoming Alice. Visitors journey through original manuscripts, iconic illustrations, film costumes, and interactive installations that bring Wonderland to life.
From Tim Burton's reimagining to Salvador Dalí's surrealist interpretations, the exhibition reveals how Alice has inspired generations of artists, filmmakers, musicians, and fashion designers worldwide.
