Nit dels Museus (Night of the Museums) Valencia 2026
Free admission to Valencia's museums from 7 PM to 1 AM with special exhibitions and performances.
The Nit dels Museus (Night of the Museums) is an annual celebration where Valencia's leading museums and cultural institutions open their doors for free during evening hours. From 7 PM to 1 AM, visitors can explore permanent collections, special exhibitions, and participate in guided tours and live performances.
Participating venues typically include IVAM (Institut Valencià d'Art Modern), the Centre del Carme, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Almoina archaeological center, and many more. Each museum organizes special activities, making it a unique cultural experience quite different from a regular daytime visit.
The event draws large crowds, so arriving early at popular venues is recommended.
Getting There
Museums are spread across central Valencia. The metro stations Xàtiva, Colón, and Alameda provide easy access to the main cultural district.
